Certificate in The Science of Fermented Food and Beverages is Approved

On June 15th, the University Academic Planning Council (UAPC) unanimously passed a proposal for an undergraduate certificate in The Science of Fermented Food and Beverages.  Students can apply for admission at the start of academic year 2017-2918.  This certificate is designed to provide undergraduates with an opportunity to apply principles of food science and microbiology to the production and distribution of fermented food and beverages.  Upon completion of this certificate, students will be uniquely qualified to work in a wide range of jobs in the fermented food and beverage industries.
